Liga Adelante


The Second Division of Spain (It Goes well together Forward), also known as The Second Division To. It is the division immediately lower than the First Division. The Second Division is disputed from 1929 and is organized by the National League of Professional Football (LFP). The current champion is the R. C. Sports of Corunna.

Historia


The League of The Second Division was started in the season 1928/29, at the same time as the First Division. In which they informed the following clubs:


In the group A, the Sevilla F. C., the Iberia S. C., the Deportivo Alavés, the Real Sporting de Gijón, the Valencia F. C., the Real Betis Balompié, the Real Oviedo F. C., the R. C. Deportivo de La Coruña, the Real Club Celta y the Racing Club de Madrid
In the group B —Category lower than the group A— They were doing it the Cultural and Deportiva Leonesa, the Real Murcia F. C., the C. D. Castellón, the C. D. Torrelavega, the Zaragoza C. D., the Real Valladolid Deportivo, the C. A. Osasuna, the Tolosa C. F., the Barakaldo C. F. and the Cartagena F. C..

Throughout the years the number of equipments has changed participants, as well as the format of the competition. In the season 1934/35 the category divided in several groups, one structures that was kept up to the season 1968/69, when there recovered the only group that is kept at present. In 1977, it happened to be call The Officially second Division To, for the creation of the Second Division B. From 1984, it is organized by the National League of Professional Football (LFP). In the seasons 2006/07 and 2007/08 it received the name of League BBVA. From the season 2008/09 this name happened to be that of the First Division, by what the category of silver was called as League Forward.

The club that more seasons it has been opposite in The Second Division is the Real Murcia, With fifty one, beside having obtained in eight occasions the champion's title. Of all the equipments that have played at some time in the category, only six have never militado in low divisions: the Valencia C. F., the Club Atlético de Madrid, el R. C. D. Español, the Sevilla F. C., the Real Sporting de Gijón and the Real Sociedad de Fútbol.

In the season 2011/12, the Deportivo de La Coruña  beat the record of points, when he was proclaimed a champion by 91.

Liga BBVA


The Spanish Football League is today one of the world's top leagues. It has been held annually since the 1928-1929 season, being the first champion FC Barcelona. In that first 10-team tournament, as well as Barcelona were: Athletic Bilbao, Real Madrid, Arenas, Real Sociedad, Real Union of Iruan, Espanyol, Atletico Madrid, Europe and Racing Santander .

From the 1934-1935 season, the tournament was moved to play with 12 teams, but during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the tournament had to stop, once the war resumed with the same equipment. The tournament was originally organized by the RFEF, happened to be organized by the LFP from the 1986-1987 season, have since used the playoff system, hence the following year began to play the tournament with that system system (all against all).


 

Throughout the history of the First Division Championship in Spain, 55 equpos participated in it, but only 3 were present in all tournaments, the Athletic Club de Bilbao, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid and only 9 of the 55 participating clubs have been able to win the tournament, Real Madrid with 32 championships, followed by FC Barcelona with 21, Atlético de Madrid with 9, with 8 the Athletic de Bilbao, Valencia FC with 6, the Real Sociedad with 2 and Deportivo la Coruña, Real Betis and Sevilla have won one.

The Spanish league has always been the most important in the world and the second half of the twentieth century has drawn on some of the best players in the world, as the great Alfredo Di Stefano, Johan Cruyff and Diego Maradona. And the Liga BBVA (with Real Madrid at the top) has become the main protagonist of many of the most important signings of recent years. 

                      

La Liga BBVA, also known today as the "League of the Stars" is probably the best championship today and the proof is that the last two winners of the Golden Ball and the almost certain winner of this year are the three most expensive players in the world which are playing in Spain, we are talking of course of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
